About me
My name is Gavin Whigham and I have always been interested in photography and anything with an engine. G3WHG is my carriage, it takes me where I need to go and just like Dr Who it has been known to regenerate with a new face. I enjoy telling stories with my photography and all my images have meaning to me. Hopefully you'll enjoy them too. New York City
This is one that G3WHG didn't take me to. New York is one of my favourite places in the world. The colours, sounds, smells and culture where do I start. This is Time Square early one morning. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Santorini
Santorini was a dream location, it had been on my wife's bucket list forever. For a photographer it is an amazing location the light is fantastic and just around every corner is another image to capture. This was the sunset on our final night there.
The North Coast 500
G3 WHG had just morphed to her latest shape and I was about to turn 40 so mid-life crisis was about to begin. As a petrol head what way to better celebrate the end of your 30's than to pack all your photography gear into the back of a sports car and head off around the NC500. This photo was taken as we were about to reach John o'groats. I'd love to do this again someday.
Long road ahead
@G3WHG on a beautiful autumn day. This is one of the few photographs I've deliberately went out to take. I had this image in my head and set off into the country roads to find the perfect location. Pittenweem Harbour
Growing up, me and my friends spent a lot of time in the east neuk of Fife in Scotland. Pittenweem was one place that we loved to visit, mainly for the fish and chips, but its also a lovely wee town

The Forth Bridge
This is the famous Forth bridge taken from North Queensferry. I love the engineering behind its construction and is well over 100 years old and still going strong. I first fell in love with after a school project over 30 years ago and still go there regularly to photograph different views. They are adding a upper viewing deck one day and I'll definitely be in the queue to climb up to the top.
Achmelvich Bay
This beach is very special to me. Its on the west coast of Scotland and I've been there a few times now. The sands and bay are as beautiful as any I've seen anywhere in the world. I have filmed this area with a drone while driving the North Coast 500. The video is available on my YouTube channel. Its a spectacular area, please visit it one day.
Car shows
I spend a lot of my time at car shows, you meet very passionate people and without them some of the history would disappear forever. This was taken at one of my favourite events held at Glamis Castle every year.
